Community Guidelines
As in a game of real golf, players will get the most enjoyment out of WGT if common etiquette rules are observed. The spirit of golf relies on the integrity of the player and consideration for others, and these values extend to the online community at WGT.
The following serves as a guide to being a worthwhile member of the WGT community. Your participation is subject to these guidelines and our Terms & Conditions. You must be 13 or older to play.
Courtesy and Respect
Players are expected to treat each other with courtesy and respect. This is not the venue for using offensive language and/or pictures, or to harass others. Treat other players in WGT the same as you would treat other players in person.
Integrity
Golf is played without the supervision of a referee, so player integrity is central to the game. Playing with integrity at WGT means refraining from cheating, hacking, spamming, impersonating others, or engaging in any illegal activities.
Sportsmanship
Our community is passionate about golf, and the spirit of competition thrives at WGT. No matter how passionate or competitive, however, players are expected to demonstrate sportsmanship at all times, and outbursts of temper and otherwise belligerent and disruptive behaviors are unacceptable. At the end of a round or tournament, congratulate the winners, console the losers, and don’t lose sight of the game’s main source of enjoyment—spending time with friends old and new.
Penalties for Breach
If a player disregards these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions, WGT may take disciplinary action against the offending player. Disciplinary actions may include prohibiting play for a limited time, disabling certain features, or permanent banning.
What You Can Do
If you see something you find offensive, you can either navigate away, or in certain areas such as your profile page, delete the offending content. However, if you see something that needs attention from the staff, simply report it to us by using the Help Request form.
Above all, we want you to have fun, and we hope these guidelines will help you get the most enjoyment out of WGT.
